Chooken - The first 14 issues is, as the title suggests, a compilation of the first 14 issues of Chooken. I've finally finished making it, and it's now for sale, which I'm quite stoked about. I've been waiting ages to see Chooken in printed form and although these are the older comics, they still really spring to life on paper. The book is 336 pages, black and white, and contains a foreword by yours truley (detailing the origins of the comic) as well as some guest and original art.



I've always found that allot of people wont read webcomics purely because they can't be bothered with all the clicking, sitting around on the computer for hours, wading through dense archives. That's why releasing the same comics in printed form opens it up to whole new audience, people who will gladly flip through a book on the bus, in bed or at work. Hopefully some fans of the comic will purchase a copy, and spread the word of Chooken to people who might be a bit afraid of viewing comics through a computer screen. Hand someone a book and usually they'll have a flip through...
